Today’s Soul Nourishing Affirmation
You are not meant to bully yourself into growth and into your one life. Self-Love grows you best.
🧚 Hi, my friend,
Thank you for subscribing to “A Light Between the Cracks,” and please tell others about this wonderful page for healing, self-care, self-love, inner peace,, and calm grounding.
It’s a joy to have you in my life and I love being in yours. Sometimes I feel like a magic fairy — maybe Glinda the Good Witch - from the Wizard of Oz - flying around and sprinkling magic fairy dust around you so your moments will feel better than they sometimes they do.
But I digress. I wasn’t going to send an affirmation today but something inside me said, “Do it. Someone needs this one right now.”
Maybe I’m simply projecting and I’m the one who needs it. Maybe we all do from time to time.
Did I ignite your curiosity yet? Or did you peek already?
As I go through my day, there are times when I am thinking about myself in a positive way and other times when I am my worst critic. Today I say, “enough” of that. Let’s be our own best friend for heaven’s sake. Let’s treat ourselves with the same kindness and understanding we often give to others.
As the important saying goes: Peace Begins with Me.
And it’s true. That is our main power. Being the peace, the love, the positive changes, the kindness we want in the world. So within that intention, here is your affirmation.

SOUL-NOURISHING POWER WORDS FOR YOUR DAYS AND NIGHTS
💞“I Speak to Myself With Love and Gentleness.”💞
==============================================================
Think these words, say them out loud in the car or shower, VISUALIZE yourself being this way to yourself, write the words down in your journal, post-it note, or note pad, and above all, live this beautiful intention.
If you catch yourself putting yourself down, WITNESS. FORGIVE. STOP. PAUSE. BREATHE. VISUALIZE. SHIFT. REDO.
If you were your own best friend, what would you say now?
When self-talk becomes soft, your whole life softens. Try to say these words to yourself when you look in the mirror, too- looking at yourself with warm and gentle eyes and saying, “I love you.”
You are not meant to bully yourself into growth and into your one life. Love grows you best.
